The interaction effect in the game Assassin´s Creed II, compared to its novel adaptation, will be the the focus of the analysis presented here. In dialogue with adaptation and game studies concepts, we conclude that the discursive projetcs of the novel and the game differ from each other, what might be explained as a strategy to amplify the profile range of the Assassin´s Creed consumers universe.--- DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.22409/cadletrasuff.2017n54a395
