Ciudades americanas, ausencia de modernidad y apogeo de la postplanificación
Abstract
The American City lacks of Planning. This has been consequence of a ultracapitalist dynamic in which the market organizes transformation forms whose mercantile logic makes them work without a Plan. So it is not planned anymore, but it is managed. This change of the Model- plan to the Model- control has had a North American influence. For that reason, the present concepts in North American urbanism, and how they have been developed in Latin America are analyzed.
