Le politiche monetarie del fascismo in Somalia dall’assimilazione alla caduta dell’impero (1925-1941)

Abstract

The year 1925 represented for Italy the beginning of a new historical-political phase with the definitive affirmation of fascism. On the colonial level, the administration of Italian Somaliland initiated various reforms that concerned the political-military and economic-financial spheres. In particular, the monetary sector underwent the most profound changes with important repercussions on the financial equilibrium of the colony.
