Ketercapaian Tugas Perkembangan Usia Lanjut Ditinjau dari Jenis Kelamin dan Latar Belakang Budaya serta Implikasinya pada Bimbingan dan Konseling
Abstract
The background of this study was the lack of consistency between the achievement of the developmental tasks. Factors which affected the achievement in development tasks among the elderly were a gender and cultural background. The purpose of this study was to describe the achievement of elderly developments task viewed from gender and cultural background and implications at guidance and counseling services. The result showed that: 1) the achievement of the developmental tasks of old age in terms of gender between men and women at high category, 2) the achievement of the developmental tasks of older age in terms of cultural background between Minang and Java at the high category, 3) there was no interaction between the variables gender and cultural background in explaining the achievement of the developmental tasks of older age. The implication of these result could be used as an analysis assesment guidance and counseling services.
