Les modes de production pour une gestion durable des ressources naturelles
Abstract
Production Method for a Sustainable Management of Natural Resources. Natural resource depletion is an important cause of anxiety for policy makers in developing countries and few viable solutions have been found until now. Nevertheless, it is possible to conciliate natural resource preservation with economic growth through appropriate economie policies. In this article a model integrating physical, agronomic, socioeconomic and institutional aspects related with the agricultural sector is developed to evaluate short and long-term effects of different agricultural policies on the different agents as well as on the environment in a village of Burkina Faso. The results, still partial, show that some economie policies can effectively combine resource preservation and allow a sustainable development.
