Incorporating multimedia content into the teaching process can greatly improve student learning and contribute to their motivation to master teaching content. Many types of research on the topic of efficient learning and perception of information have just contributed to the importance of this topic, that is, the application of information and communication technologies (ICT) and multimedia contents in teaching. This paper deals with theoretical analysis of the principle of the efficient use of multimedia contents in teaching and learning, which can contribute to the improvement of the teaching process and the motivation of students / learners in mastering the envisaged activities. In addition to the theoretical analysis, the paper presents the results of the empirical research, which the results of the theoretical analysis are proven and practical. The results of the empirical analysis confirmed that there is a significant impact on the application of multimedia content on the effects of modern IT teaching.
