Nowadays teachers are required to be more professional, reliable, and competent, one of which is in conducting scientific publications. Preliminary research at SMA Negeri 1 Manggar showed the ability of teachers to produce scientific writings, especially articles, is still relatively low. This condition required activities that could provide direct experience for teachers. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle had four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed an increase in the ability of teachers to write in mass media, from 21.7% to 26%. All the assisted teachers from the science, social studies, and language groups have succeeded in improving their ability to write articles in the mass media. The continuation of this training is to provide more intensive assistance for teachers to complete the writing or to submit the writings to the mass media to be published.
