Hala Tuju Pengajian Umum Di Alaf Baru* (Directions of General Studies in the New Millennium)

Abstract

Formally, the field of general studies in local institutions of higher learning is a discipline which has only been given attention recently. Its implementation, which always takes the current needs and the latest developments into account, has led to significant changes in the said discipline as compared to more traditional disciplines. This paper delineates the progress achieved by discussing the challenges that are being faced and will be faced in order to make this discipline on a par with other disciplines.
