The law on religion and religious freedom in Vietnam
Abstract
Awareness and enforcement of the law on religion and beliefs have been put off from early in the history of the modern State of Vietnam. The views and the rule of law in Vietnam have created conditions for Vietnamese people’s practice of freedom on belief and religion, so that along with social development, Vietnam has become one of the countries with a great variety and diversity in terms of religion and beliefs. The development of religion and beliefs requires the completion of law to enhance the Vietnamese spiritual world. This article focused on clarifying the developments in the perception of the Party and the State in perfecting the law of religious belief and the richly diverse religious practice in Vietnam.
