Os socialistas vão ao Sertão: o jornal O Popular na cobertura dos conflitos de terra na zona rural carioca (1951-1954)

Abstract

This article intent to study the relation between Partido Socialista Brasileiro and O Popular (a socialist newspaper), in the 50's. The central theme is the report on zone rural of Rio de Janeiro made by socialist newspaper and the social struggles for land. It’s possible to see the journal exploring that information about events to define yours differences between him and others political forces of the city, such as PCB and PTB.
