Imaginario y realidad de la muerte de Santa María Egipciaca en el contexto castellano de la crisis del siglo XIV
Abstract
This work proposes to analyze the sense and the functionality of the topic of the death of the saint in the context of the European crisis of the 14th century, by means of the death of Saint Mary the Egyptian narrated in the Vida de Santa María Egipciaca, a Castilian poem composed in the early 13th century but transmitted at the end of the 14th century in Escorial MS K-III-4.
