Przyrodnicze i krajobrazowe walory przydrożnych zbiorowisk roślinnych Lubelszczyzny
Abstract
The aim of the study was to catalogue the plants at sides of the Lublin region roads (local, regional and national) and to evaluate their natural and landscape advantages. Within the areas of 50–100 m2 characterised by a similar species composition and of similar seat conditions the flora lists were prepared and the percent of the given species was determined. In total, 215 species were distinguished, including 36 grass species, 27 papilionaceous ones, 1 fern, 1 horsetail as well as 160 taxons from other botanical families. Bio-indicative evaluation of habitat conditions at the studied roadsides was carried out on the basis of ecological index for the distinguished taxons (L, T, K, W, Tr, R, D and H). It was found that colourful plant communities at roadsides of the Lublin region are a necessary esthetic element for a landscape through seasons.
