Abstract

Este artigo visa salientar a participação própria da língua na realização do processo de representação e na determinação da vida pulsional. Com base em conceitos do campo da psicanálise e em obras de S. Freud e J. Lacan, o presente estudo retoma considerações acerca do processo de representação e coloca em discussão a função desempenhada pela língua no seu potencial de simbolização da pulsão. Obtêm-se, com isto, precisões teóricas acerca das condições da realização do processo de representação da pulsão.This paper aims at emphasizing the participation of language itself in the making of the representation process and in the determination of the pulsional life. Based on concepts of the psychoanalysis field and on the work of S. Freud and J. Lacan, the present study resumes considerations about the representation process and discusses the function of language on its potential for symbolization of the pulsion. As a result we obtain theoretical precisions regarding the conditions of the making of the representation process of pulsion.
