By using morphometric, such as the route of the river network, the erosion base level to the third order, analysis of slopes and vertical dissection methods were identified and characterized the major tectonic structures, morphotectonic blocks and recent fault, the latter was assessed for active status. As a result, the morphotectonic scheme of the Verraco-Punta Barlovento sector is obtained at scale 1: 25000, which contains the possible phenomena induced by high intensity earthquakes; as well as the presence of simple faults and sections.
