The Type of Complex Portrait Description in a Fiction Text

Abstract

The paper deals with the special type of verbal portrait description of a man as found in a fiction text. The author of this text is a professional artist who perceives world through her eyes mainly. Such a kind of portrait plays a key role in a compositional semantics of the text; it goes through all the text and is connected to the works of visual art.
