Abstract

Collocations and Semantic Analysis of Words The author presents the application of an electronic text corpus, particularly of NKJP for Polish, to the analysis of syntagmatic expressions, more commonly known as collocations. By querying a corpus, it is possible to obtain reliable data on the frequency of collocations, and to extract cognitively significant expressions.
