Compliment as Element of Speech Etiquette in the Aspect of Intercultural Communication

Abstract

The article is devoted to such genre of speech etiquette as a compliment. The author traces its evolution on the examples from Russian literature, produces its classification and compares the concept of “compliment” in the Russian and Spanish languages.
