US-CAMEROON COOPERATION IN THE FIGHT AGAINST BOKO HARAM

Abstract

Article describes cooperation between the US and Cameroon in Central Africa in fihting Islamic extremist group «Boko Haram». The attention is turned to the foreign policy interests of the United States and Cameroon in Central Africa and the reasons for the involvement of these countries in a regional security system. The regulatory framework of the US and Cameroon in the implementation of policies against «Boko Haram» is analyzed. The features common features of US policy and Cameroon in the fiht against terrorism in Central Africa are disclosed.
