Parliamentary discourse as the context of parliamentary conflict

The article attempts to analyze the parliamentary communication in the Ukrainian parliamentary process according to the context of parliamentary discourse, which can be considered as the scope of speech strategies and tactics that indicates conflict or consensus nature of political communication. The analysis of the concept of «political discourse» based on concept review of parliamentary discourse and parliamentary text. It was found that the parliamentary discourse and parliamentary text are not identical сategories, and this difference lies in functional and analytical spheres. During the review of parliamentary discourse and parliamentary text in the context of the political discourse was discovered their possible potential for conflict. Conflict potential of parliamentary discourse and parliamentary text appears in the application (knowingly or accidentally) of conflict tactics and strategies, both verbal and nonverbal by actors of parliamentary process, whose purpose is to discredit, accuse another actors of the parliamentary process. Often the purpose of this communication is the conflict itself . The article also discussed the types and levels of parliamentary conflicts. Thus, the author concluded that manipulative potential of parliamentary text can be updated in the parliamentary discourse through the use of verbal and nonverbal communication strategies and tactics.
