This article discusses the general concept of PR, PR genres and their characteristics, the language and style of PR texts, and their differences in genre. It also analyzes the content and genre characteristics of PR texts used in the field of PR in Uzbek media. A PR text must meet the same criteria as other types of mass communication texts, namely journalistic and advertising texts. For example, availability, originality, conciseness, ease of perception, aesthetics, and in addition to these, there should be an opportunity to quickly select relevant information for certain genres of PR text. PR text does not report on new products - it contains information about news events in the life of the main subject of PR. PR texts always have a clear target audience. In this article such important aspects are studied and analyzed.
