LA TERMINOLOGIE DU SPORT: VERS UN DICTIONNAIRE MULTILINGUE

Abstract

Sport is an ideal field to promote international exchanges, as the success of Olympic Games and other international competitions demonstrates. This article deals with the terminology of sport in a multilingual perspective. We will give a list of bilingual and multilingual terminological products, both for sport in general and for specific disciplines. Then, we will propose a project concerning the construction of a multilingual resource about sport based on the Dictionnaire alphabétique et analogique du français des activités physiques et sportives (DAAFAPS).
