Percepção de trabalhadores da saúde em relação à prática corporal chinesa Lian Gong - análise qualitativa

The objective of this study was to identify the perceptions of workers of the Municipal Secretary of Health Palmas, on the quality of life obtained with Chinese Lian Gong practice. The study included 10 employees of the Zoonosis Control Center, which conducted the Lian Gong for a period of three months, totaling 36 meetings. After this period, a qualitative evaluation through focus group was held. For the focus group, the categories were identified: sleep and rest; use of medication, about pain and discomfort and social relations. The content analysis was used to discuss the results, where it was observed that workers had very positive perception of the quality of life in the categories analyzed, with assertions that demonstrated improved in all surveyed categories, such as improved sleep and rest, reduction use of medicines for pain and improves interpersonal relationships.
