The choice of intervention techniques, whether they are more or less innovative, on cultural heritage is the result of extensive scientific analyzes of texts, as well as simple intuitions on the building's interpretation and operative methodologies. This leads to a discipline of conservation which can be defined as rigorously scientific, but historical and fundamentally critical as well.
