Abstract

Innovation is regarded as a key factor leading to the development of the enterprise market enrichment with new products and services of high quality and organizational transformations within the company and its environment. Purpose of the study is to characterize the innovation potential of the SME sector in the Silesian region. The study presents the results of research on the condition of the SME sector conducted by the Confederation of Leviathan in 2013 and attempts to analyze the innovation potential of the SME sector in Silesia on the background of the country.
