Abstract
Circular 1479S, a 6-page circular by Leonard Pearlstine, Donald L. DeAngelis, Frank Mazzotti, Tomma Barnes, Michael Duever, Janet Starnes and Marianna D. Conill, is the Spanish language version of Circular 1479, "Spatial Decision Support Systems for Landscape Ecological Evaluations in the Southwest Florida Feasibility Study." This publication describes the computer-based tools used for natural resource management that tightly integrate decision theory models with ecological models and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The document describes the ecological issues in southwestern Florida, and the types of tools and procedures being developed for evaluations in this area. Includes references.
