To research the catchment area today is focused on the consumer view, but there are only few analyze about the territorial structural aspect of it. The example of the Balaton Resort Area as one of the most important hungarian touristic area, can be illustrated the historical differences, which were based on the different social classes and geographical parts established for different touristic attractions. This study present the disparity of catchment areas which are based on the comparison of different market places, the spacial use of the direct selling points’ visitors, and the inter-municipal relations contructed by the trade relations to supply the casual and individual consumer needs’ motivation. As a demand site, the inhabitants and the temporarily attendees are the two main group which the traders establish their product range on the direct selling places (supply chains). The inhabitants of the county of Veszprém, Somogy and Pest can be talk on these regional market places, however, the inhabitants of Transdanubia means a dominant role in this case. Throught the different people from cities and the lack of the small villages’ inhabitanst could present the one side of the hungarian social-economical disparities. This study could give an additions to present it by analyzing the catchment areas of the regional market places.
