Equipment Condition Management for predicting the health condition of manufacturing systems was developed. This software implements availability, preventive maintenance probability, failed state probability and state duration as performance functions for manufacturing systems. Thereby eliminating lengthy and error-prone manual computations associated with prediction of performance indicators of manufacturing equipment from any given operational and process data setting. It incorporates various stages of deterioration and maintenance states and also capable of computing the predicted average time before system failure occurs. This permits in the determination of the most suitable decision to improve the reliability of an industrial equipment. The prediction result identifies the effectiveness of the proposed method in predicting overall wellbeing of manufacturing systems.
