CONSIDERATIONS ON AGRICULTURAL SYSTEMS IN THE CONDITIONS OF CLIMATE CHANGES

Abstract

The authors of the paper aim to highlight an evolution of the agricultural system from the per- spective of sustainability in the Common Agricul- tural Policy. The purpose of this article is to make a systemic analysis of the convergence of the agri- cultural economy in relation to the realization of the assessment of agricultural sustainability. An essential premise for the application of the metho- dological analysis was represented by an asses- sment of agriculture in relation to the acceleration by agricultural systems of the conditions imposed as targets of eco-conditionality. The information was analysed and extracted from the available sta- tistical databases: Agridata and Eurostat. So, the idea of conditionality regarding the sustainability of the agricultural system is underlined by the implications in the implementation of agricultural decarbonization policies. The conclusion outlined by the authors is that agricultural management can lead to the optimization of biodiversity protection as a means of agricultural sustainability
