Objective To understand the cognition and demand for “internet+ nursing services” among chronic disease patients in Hefei, and to analyze the influencing factors, providing a reference for better implementation of “internet + nursing services.” Methods From September to December 2022, a self-designed questionnaire was used to survey 3 418 chronic disease patients in Hefei regarding their cognition and demand for “internet+ nursing services”. Results A total of 83.76% of chronic disease patients in Hefei supported the “internet+ nursing services” model, but the awareness rate was only 28.17%. Moreover, 80.39% of chronic disease patients expressed willingness to use “internet+ nursing services” for long-term disease care. The main content of demand for “internet+ nursing services” included health promotion and chronic disease case management (56.59%), appropriate traditional Chinese medicine nursing techniques (50.98%), and maternal and infant care guidance (43.41%). Regarding costs, 78.53% of chronic disease patients preferred a fee-for-service model, and 56.58% found that a service fee of 200 yuan or less per session was reasonable and acceptable. Conclusion Chronic disease patients in Hefei have a high willingness to use “internet+ nursing services”, but their awareness of these services is low. Health authorities and medical institutions should promote the implementation of “internet+ nursing services” and enhance the high-quality standardized management of these services to provide quality “internet+ nursing services” for chronic disease patients.
