Chain of the narrators (Sanad) has a fundamental status in Islam. The dearth of Sanad can encourage anyone to manipulate hadith in their own context. In this regard, hadith scholars travelled long and tiring journeys from the North to the West in order to minimize the number of narrators. Because as a fact the less the number of narrators will be, the less there will be a chance of manipulation. Numerous books were compiled in the third century amongst them those hadith narrated by the three narrators between the Holy Prophet Peace be upon Him and the compiler were least in numbers and more authentic, which is called Thulathiyat. This study is based on the collection of the narrators who are not only the narrators of Thulathiyat but the students of Imam Abu Hanifa as well and other aspect of the paper is to highlight their tremendous efforts and contributions to ensure the authenticity of hadith for the up-coming Ummah. So that the feelings of realization and self-actualization is ignited in the Ummah about the tedious efforts of Imam Abu Hanifa and his learned students.
