Luynes (Touraine, France) was the centre of a duchy-peerage from 1619 to 1790 whose territory spread during the seventeenth century. In 1670, a royal decree gave it a specific judicial organisation. We were able to reconstruct its jurisdictions and its personnel. On a material level, nothing remains of the buildings that housed courts. Having quickly described all elements mentioned above, we will present the sources and path that make it possible to locate and reconstruct this judicial decision-making body. Then we will end with a test of virtual reconstruction of the building, its environment and its internal distribution.
