THE ATTITUDES OF THE STUDENTS REGARDING THE DISCIPLINE OF GEOGRAPHY
Abstract
The present article relates a study whose objective was verify the occurrence and the kind of attitudes regarding the discipline of Geography, present in students of the Basic Education of a private school of the town of Bauru/SP. It utilized itself for collects of facts a protocol containing a scale of attitudes regarding the Geography applied to 288 students of 5 series to the 3 year of the Medium Education. To scale has the purpose of measure itself the attitudes of the students regarding the determined situation or phenomenon is positive or negative. The results indicate that the students evaluated present more positive than negative attitudes, but is possible and necessary maximize those positive attitudes for that the geographical learning occur of more favorable form.
