This work proposes a reading of the poetry-novel relationship in Juan José Saer as forms of reconstruction of memory, memories and reality in the description / estrangement contrast. Taking into account that for this author the definition of these genres is erased in the practice carried out by the subject, it is that we understand poetry and the novel as writing experiences where subjectivity looks for singularities in the order of form. This work analyzes the presence of the poetic as an aesthetic principle typical of Saer's universe, a principle that has led us to think of this work as a constant tension towards the interior of the novel form by virtue of the gravitation that poetry exerts on it as a principle compositional.
