Porquê Editar a Marginalia Pessoana?

Abstract

The edition of Fernando Pessoa’s marginalia (considered by many as an additional literary estate) is very important in the universe of Pessoa’s criticism, as it can be part of the poet’s literary production, as well as revealing the poet’s “work in progress” as creator and critic. This article intends to present some details of the marginalia in the books that belonged to Fernando Pessoa’s Private Library. It also discusses the editorial difficulties and problems raised by the different types of marginalia.
