El lenguaje poético en Libertad bajo Palabra de Octavio Paz. Poesía en su poder retórico

Abstract

Our aim is to present a brief essay about the rhetorical charge in Octavio Paz’s Libertad bajo palabra, a work that renewed Mexican poetry and gave social commitment and the concept of otherness a place in the Hispano-American verse in times of international conflicts. Thus, the objective of this essay is to demonstrate the power of the word in Paz’s work, as a bridge linking social reality and utopian dream with thought and poetic evolution that gratify otherness as an axis of change.
