ENEIDA MARIA DE SOUZA: A VISITOR PRESENT AT UFSJ

Abstract

In this text, I would like to register my experience and interaction with Professor Eneida during her stay at UFSJ, more specifically in the Postgraduate Program in Literature. I aim to talk about this experience and its importance from the perspective of my training as a linguist and my concerns about my work, a linguist, in a line of research that focuses on the issue of culture and cultural studies in a postgraduate program in Portuguese. This text aims to be a testimony on the importance of the intellectual trajectory of Professor Eneida Maria de Souza, highlighting her work both as a partner in the construction and consolidation of the program and as an advisor to a linguist professor in a post-doctoral internship and, thus, highlighting her importance for my training, my maturity, and also my performance in my research and guidance work.
