Introduction system to extract foreign bodies in the cerebral circulation with 2 stent retrievers (solitare) Methods We present 2 cases in which we have had to withdraw devices. (Flow diverter due to poor opening and coil due to distal migration.) Results 2 cases are presented, in which we used the technique developed by angioteam. In the first case we rescued a flow diverter stent that was exchanged for another stent. In the second case, we the rescued the coils that migrated from the internal carotid artery to the medium cerebral artery. Conclusions It is a rescue technique in which a distal stent retriever and a second proximal device are pulled between them to catch the device that is going to be removed Both cases were successfull in removing the flow diverter stent and coil.
