GÖÇÜN CİNSİYETİ VE GÖÇTE ÖTEKİ OLANLAR: KADINLAR

Abstract

ÖZ: Göçün cinsiyetinin araştırılması amaçlanan çalışmada, öncelikle tespit edilmek istenilen konu, bir cinsiyet ayrımı varsa, bu ayrımda kadını erkekten farklı kılan özelliklerin ne olduğunun ortaya konulabilmesidir. Konu, göç ve cinsiyet / göç ve toplumsal cinsiyet olmak üzere iki ayrı yönden değerlendirilmeye alınarak, göçü yöneten ve yönetilenlerin ilişkisi üzerine kurgulanacaktır. Kadınların göç sürecinde nasıl bir güçlük yaşadığını öteki / ötekileştirme kavramları ve oluşabilecek stratejilerle anlatılmaya çalışılacaktır. Kadınların tarihsel göç serüveninde ekonomik, sosyal, siyasal ve kültürel faktörler ile beraber, savaş, afet, ayrımcılık gibi önemli çok boyutluluğu olan alanlar geleceğe katkı sağlaması açısından incelenecektir. Göç eden kadınların deneyimi ile erkek göçmenin deneyimlerinin arasındaki farklılıklar ve dezavantajlı faktörler gelecekte yaşanacak göç hareketleri ile ilişkilendirilecektir. Göç erkek odaklı bir zihniyeti mi içermektedir? Göçün kadınları öteki olarak kırılgan bir konuma getirmesi ile ikincil konumunun pekiştirilmesi söylemi ne denli geçerliliği olan bir durumdur? Kadın göçmenin göç sırasında ve sonrasında hak ettiği yeri bulmasında kadınlara ve erkeğe verilmesi gereken roller nelerdir? Bu sorulara cevap aranacak olan çalışmada, göçün cinsiyeti ifadesi ile göç sürecinde kadınların birey olarak öteki kabul edilmeden toplumlarda yer alması tartışılacaktır. ABSTRACT: In this study, which aims to investigate the gender of migration, the first issue to be identified is that, if there is a gender distinction, it can be revealed what the characteristics that make women different from men in this distinction. The subject will be evaluated in two different ways: migration and gender / migration and gender, and will be based on the relationship between those who manage and manage migration. It will be tried to explain how women have a power relationship in the migration process with other / othering concepts and possible strategies. In the historical migration adventure of women, economic, social, political and cultural factors as well as important multidimensional areas such as war, disaster, discrimination will be examined in order to contribute to the future. The differences between the experience of migrant women and the experiences of male migrants and the disadvantaged factors will be associated with future migratory movements. Does immigration involve a male-oriented mindset? What is the validity of the discourse that migration puts women in a fragile position as the other and reinforces their secondary position? What are the roles that women and men should be given in finding their rightful place during and after migration? In this study, we will discuss the gender of migration and the role of women in the migration process in societies without being accepted as individuals.
