Los ojeadores. Un largo viaje en 1948 para preparar la llegada del Opus Dei a América / The scouts. A long journey in 1948 to prepare the arrival of Opus Dei in America
Abstract
Three Opus Dei men visited six American countries between April and September 1948. They were sent by the founder to explore the possibilities of expansion in North and South America. This article describes the circumstances surrounding the origin and motivations of this journey. The article also summarizes the itinerary, funding and objectives, as well as the main highlights of the journey.
