The aim of the study was to analyze the satisfaction of Physical Education undergraduate students from a public university of the state of Santa Catarina / Brazil with their academic experiences, considering their personal, academic, and professional characteristics. The instrument used for data collection was the Scale of Satisfaction with Academic Experiences. Statistical treatment was performed using both descriptive (simple and percentage frequencies) and inferential procedures (Chi-square test), with a significance level of 5%. Results revealed high levels of overall satisfaction with the course, institution, and development opportunities. There was a statistically significant association between general satisfaction and the course stage. Overall, the dimension ‘satisfaction with the course’ presented the highest percentages of high satisfaction, while the dimension ‘development opportunities’ presented the lowest percentages of high satisfaction.
