Concepția biblică privind bunăstarea

Abstract

Man's natural concern for well-being is also found in biblical texts, even though the Scripture’s point of view differs somewhat from the prospects offered by the usual economic theories. We will see that beyond the nuances of richness-welfare ratio, the Bible makes a clear difference between the limited, relative and imperfect prosperity that man can acquire throughout his earthly existence and the absolute welfare that will mark “eternal life” promised to the faithful after the Saviour's return, an occasion with which all the balances initially established at Creation will be restored as the foundation of absolute welfare.
