Key Clinical Message This report describes a case of an electric toothbrush head being retained between the floor of the mouth and the submandibular gland following a fall. Computed tomography imaging is recommended in cases of oral cavity damage to assess tissue damage and ascertain the position of the foreign body concerning blood vessels.
