Semipositone elliptic equations in unbounded domains in R n $\mathbb{R}^{n}$

Abstract

Abstract We investigate a class of semipositone nonlinear elliptic boundary value problems in unbounded domains D of R n $\mathbb{R}^{n}$ , n ≥ 3 $n\geq 3$ . Under some mild-assumptions, we obtain the existence of a unique positive continuous solution and provide information about its global behavior.
