Concerned about the way teaching manual authors misappropriated the produced knowledge with sociological sloping, by the academy in the History field, and questioning about the possibility of these same authors of constituting new study objects because of the demands emerged by the consecutive changes in the teaching formation in Argentina, the present article analyses History of Education teaching manuals, laic and catholic, elaborated since the beginning of the 20th century.
