Molluscum Contagiosum (MC) is a skin and mucous membrane disease of viral origin seen in both children and adults. Molluscum Contagiosum Virus (MCV) is transmitted by person-to-person contact, sexual contact or by fomites. MC is seen in immunocompromised and HIV infected patients.
