The Women's trade schools in Đakovica: 1922-1941

The Women's Trade School in Đakovica was founded in 1922 and its establishment of great importance had Municipality of Đakovica, Trade Inspectorate in Skopje and the Ministry of Trade and Industry. At the beginning of the school, there were problems, resulting primarily due to the small number of enrolled pupils, their frequent absenteeism, dropout, conservative thinking parents as well as inadequate working conditions. However, despite the mentioned difficulties with the great assistance of the Circle of Serbian Sisters from Đakovica, the work of Women's Vocational School in Đakovica is quite stabilized. The main effort of the Board Rounds of Đakovica successfully completed was to raise the building. House of 1933 in which accommodated Women craft schools and actively continued to work until the beginning of 1941, when it stopped working.
