Abstract

This article presents the main resultsobtained from the development ofthe research project entitled “Studyof the category ‘Mode of ExistenceProduction’ in the work of Marxand Engels, and its implications tothe understanding of the leisureproblem”. It was conducted by the“Marxism, History, Free Time andEducation” Studies and ResearchGroup, over a period of 3 yearsfrom 2007 to 2010. The research question, objectives, and mainconclusions are presented here, aswell as the production in Teaching,Research and Extension.
