Present Situation and Enlightenment of Chinese University Libraries' Participation in Digital Humanistic Educational Service from the Perspective of Supply and Demand Matching

[Purpose/Significance] With the development of digital humanities education service of university libraries in China, it is very important to explore its service effect. Based on this, this paper intends to discuss the key influencing factors of university libraries' participation in digital humanities education services. After analyzing the current development status of digital humanities education in Chinese universities, this paper will provide theoretical basis for university libraries to improve their service ability of digital humanities education, which is conducive to promoting the development of China's new liberal arts construction task and improving the digital humanities literacy of college students. [Method/Process] By using literature research, network investigation and system analysis method, the digital humanities education situation of six universities in China was taken as the object. Based on the WSR method, we sorted out the service modes of university libraries' participation in digital humanities education from three dimensions: W(digital humanitiesresources, projects, technologies and tools, etc.) -S(curriculum education mode) -R (librarians),as well as the satisfaction of college library services provided by college student user groups involved in digital humanities education during digital humanities research with the purpose of improving digital humanities literacy. [Results/Conclusions] The above six university libraries have played an important role in the digital humanities education of colleges and universities. They have provided different degrees of support for the development of digital humanities education of colleges and universities from the five aspects of data resources, digital humanities technology and tools, projects, curriculum settings and professional librarian services. At the same time, based on the analysis results of the research on the needs of student user groups, it is proposed that the future university libraries should take the needs of users as the core to build a three-dimensional digital humanities education service platform of "collaboration between library and institute + digital humanities" to meet the individual needs of digital humanities education. To further exert the advantages of university libraries in resources, education, technology, talent, space and other aspects, such as improving the accuracy of matching supply and demand, and proactively providing digital humanities concepts and methods to traditional humanities teaching services, so as to support the development of digital humanities education and its own service innovation. At the same time, domestic scholars are expected to make in-depth analysis on how to strengthen the professionalization and professionalization of digital humanities librarians and how to fully integrate emerging technology resources into digital humanities education, so as to enrich the research content of digital humanities education in domestic university libraries.
