It presents some evaluation aspects 01 the implementation 01 the Student Assistance Pcllcy in the context 01 the expansión 01 the Federal Network 01 Vocational and Technological Education. The analysis starts from the Student Assistance contextualization in this school system, highlighting a pattern 01actions 01 this pollcy at the Federal Institule 01 Education, Science and Technology 01 Maranhao (IFMA). It searches to identify and analyze the demands and changes relating to student assistance, under the aforementioned expansiono The analysis is based atso on empirical reterences resulting Irom an investigative process carried out at IFMA, Campus Sao Luís Monte Castelo. The reflections focus on the analysis of the conditions of access and scope of the actions of the Student Assistance Pclicy, as well as the dynamics 01its services offered and in some products 01these acüons.
