Knowledge management framework (kmf) based on layers

Abstract

Research in the eld of Knowledge Management (KM) has grown in accumulation and importance in both the academic and business worlds. However, it has not properly established how and when a KM initiative should be implemented. For the above, this paper describes the structures based on layers of a frame of knowledge management KMF that enables administration of the knowledge, articulating through levels different functions and activities to the knowledge administration of the resources among members of an organization. From the KMF a prototype of Knowledge Management System (KMS) is presented and oriented to the management of the knowledge of research groups.
